This product adequately performs its function in both USB and eSATA modes. In both modes, the device is automatically recognized by Windows and performs as expected in both speed and reliability. At $29, the price is OK, but not great. The case is cheap, black plastic with a cheap, gray rubber condom that slides over the case. The stand only works when the condom is installed. There are many screws that must be removed and replaced to install the drive, more so than competing cases. The power LED is on the side back corner and is obscured by the case and condom, so why have one at all? The one good feature is a power switch so you don't have to unplug the external AC adapter to turn it off. A product that performs its basic function adequately should not be sneered at, but considering how cheap the construction is and how ugly the case is, this should be a $19 case. The included cables are way too short to be usable (about 18 inches), so you must supply your own in most cases. I don't understand why they include the too short cables at all, as I would prefer they either include usable cables or leave them out all together and make the case cheaper. As it is, the included cables are basically landfill.
